Ruoting Sun is a cybersecurity industry executive, startup investor, and advisor with experience spanning both product & go-to-market functions.

Currently, Ruoting is Chief Marketing Officer at GreyNoise, a cybersecurity company focused on helping organizations detect targeted threats at the network edge. Ruoting brings deep operating experience in a variety of security industries, including networking, identity, endpoint, risk & compliance, and threat intelligence markets. Before GreyNoise, he led Product at Secureframe, focusing on security and compliance automation for modern enterprises. Ruoting was also a key leader at Duo Security, where he helped launch the first commercial industry offering for Zero Trust and built strategic partnerships that ultimately led to the acquisition by Cisco.

Ruoting mentors early-stage startups on product-market fit and growth strategies. He holds a degree in Quantitative Finance and was a quant trader in his previous career.
